Diversity Counts Conference
In October 2003 the LHO held its second annual conference Diversity Counts: Tackling Ethnic Inequalities in
Health. The conference was a unique partnership between the London Health Observatory and colleagues in the
Greater London Authority, NHS, the Commission for Racial Equality, the Department of Health and the London Health
Commission.
The aim of the conference was to promote interpretation, understanding and appropriate use of ethnicity data.
